Degumming process:
The process of removing colloid impurities in oil is called degumming, the colloidal impurities in crude oil mostly is phospholipid, so deguming is often called the dephosphorization.
The degumming process mainly includes Hydration degumming and Acid-Add degumming
Deacidification process:
It refers to the refining process that saturate the free fatty acids with alkali, then generate fatty acid salts (soap) and water, the soap LDorb a portion of impurity then settling out from the oil. this is the normally deacidification refining method.
Decolorization process:
Normally use the clay's strong absoption ability to remove the pigment in the oil.
Filtration process:
Normally use the flat frame filter machine to filter the clay after the decolorization process.
Deodorization process:
This process is to remove the odor substances such as the odor in the leaching solvent process, soap odor in the alkali refining process and clay odor during the decolorization process. as well as remove part pigment residue.
Dewaxing section:
Edible oil that need the dewaxing : rice bran oil/sunflower oil/corn germ oil/palm oil
Oil dewaxing is taking the LD different melting point between oil and wax, through crystallization by cooling, then make the oil and wax separated by filtration or centrifugal separation .
